Mae gan y Brifysgol gronfa o oruchwylwyr sy'n cynorthwyo gydag arholiadau’r Brifysgol  trwy gydol y flwyddyn. Ar hyn o bryd mae'n recriwtio i gynyddu'r gronfa hon.

Bydd goruchwylwyr yn cynorthwyo'r Prif Arolygwyr a'r Swyddog Asesu gyda threfniadau’r arholiadau, gan sicrhau y cydymffurfir â gweithdrefnau a rheoliadau'r Brifysgol ac y cynhelir uniondeb y broses asesu. Bydd hyn yn cynnwys monitro myfyrwyr i osgoi camymddygiad academaidd a sicrhau bod diogelwch arholiadau'n cael ei gynnal bob amser.

Mae gofyn bod gan oruchwylwyr sgiliau cyfathrebu a threfnu rhagorol. Bydd angen iddynt hefyd allu deall a gweithredu gweithdrefnau a rheoliadau'r Brifysgol. Byddai sgiliau iaith Gymraeg yn ddymunol.

Bydd profiad blaenorol o oruchwylio arholiadau neu weithgaredd tebyg yn fanteisiol ond bydd hyfforddiant yn cael ei ddarparu a bydd yn orfodol..

Casual Position

(To assist with University examinations throughout the year)

The University has a pool of invigilators who assist with University examinations throughout the year.  It is currently recruiting to increase this pool.

Invigilators will assist the Chief Invigilators and Assessment Officer with examination arrangements, ensuring that University procedures and regulations are complied with and the integrity of the assessment process is maintained. This will involve monitoring of students to avoid academic misconduct and ensuring the security of examinations is maintained at all times.

Invigilators are required to have excellent communication and organisational skills. They will also need to be able to understand and apply the University’s procedures and regulations. Welsh language skills would be desirable.

Previous experience of invigilating examinations or similar activity will be advantageous but training will be provided and will be mandatory. 

The main University exam periods are as follows and applicants will be expected to be available for the majority of these periods:

Week of 13 August 2018

Week of 21 January 2019

Weeks of 13 and 20 May 2019

Week of 12 August 2019
