Horticulture Wales Communications Officer

Temporary position until February 2020, part time, 15 hours per week

Wrexham Glyndwr University leads the Horticulture Wales project through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.

Horticulture Wales is an exciting pan-Wales project supporting welsh horticultural businesses to reduce waste and optimise economic returns.  The project focuses on developing clusters, sharing knowledge and creating collaborations across wales.

The Communications Officer is an integral role, which will work within a small dedicated team and have responsibility for the maintenance of the projects website, the development of interesting and thought provoking content for the projects newsletter and website, undertake PR activities, a creating case studies of our members for promotional purposes.
