Salary:  £24,771 to £28,660 per annum, pro rata

The University recognises how important placements and Work-related learning are for preparing our students for future employment.  As part of this, we have an ambitious target to support 100% of students through a work-related learning experience during their time studying with us.

To help us develop these opportunities and to support the students to gain the most from their time with us, we are recruiting two Work-related learning officer posts (1.6 FTE) to our newly formed Work-related learning unit.  Working in partnership with the Enterprise Office and academic colleagues, the post holders will be dynamic, proactive individuals with a positive outlook, excellent communication skills and experience of either supporting work-related learning within education or working with industry. You will have exceptional organisational and communication skills and a clear commitment to achieving targets.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability work with numerous stakeholders, both within and out with the University, be able to communicate across multiple sectors and manage projects across the University.  You will have a commitment to excellent customer service and enjoy meeting new people as well as supporting students to make the most of the opportunities available to them.
