Full time position- Maternity Cover (12 months fixed term)

The new Directorate for Strategic Planning and Student Administration is currently being set up. This will be at the forefront of supporting and enhancing the student journey through the University and in working with Faculties to support growth, innovation and development. It will be looking to work in new ways and is predicated upon the following principles:

•           Simplification of processes

•           Process automation wherever possible

•           Increase self-service for students and staff

•           Expectation of continuous adaptation and change.

The Directorate has a vacancy for a Quality Manager. This is a full-time role within the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance team. The role will work alongside another Quality Manager and will have responsibility for a Quality Coordinator. The Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance team will be responsible for: monitoring and providing support and guidance to ensure compliance with academic regulations, policies and procedures; managing programme validation, modification, monitoring and evaluation; providing support for internal committees; external examining processes; student misconduct and complaints. The post holder will be aligned to one academic faculty and act as a key contact point for guidance on all quality assurance and regulatory matters.
