The new Directorate for Strategic Planning and Student Administration will be at the forefront of supporting and enhancing the student journey through the University and in working with Faculties to support growth, innovation and development. It will be looking to work in new ways and is predicated upon the following principles:

•           Simplification of processes

•           Process automation wherever possible

•           Increase self-service for students and staff

•           Expectation of continuous adaptation and change.

The Directorate has a vacancy for a Quality and Regulation Co-ordinator. This is a full-time role within the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance team. The team has overall responsibility for: monitoring and providing support and guidance to ensure compliance with academic regulations, policies and procedures; managing programme validation, modification, monitoring and evaluation; providing support for internal committees; external examining processes; student misconduct and complaints. 

This varied role will require the post holder to support all areas of operation but with a particular focus on providing support with validation and modification of programme processes, supporting student procedures, effective dissemination of information, committee servicing and writing of minutes and record keeping. 

The role will work closely with staff at all levels across Academic Faculties and Professional Services. 

The role will play a key part in this exciting and challenging development within the University. As such, key attributes include: effective team worker, high level of communication, ability to adapt and be flexible, with a positive approach.
