The Directorate for Strategic Planning and Student Administration invites applications to the role of Planning Officer. This is a part-time (0.6FTE) role that will report to the Planning Manager and is situated within the Planning and Reporting Team. The Planning Officer will support activities across the Directorate but will also have the following key areas of responsibility:

•     The day-to-day maintenance of the Workload Allocation Model ensuring the data used to support the Model is accurate and up-to-date

•     The collation, analysis and reporting of data and information from a range of different data sources including student feedback.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, numerical and literacy skills with a keen attention to detail. They will also have good organisation and project planning skills along with a detailed knowledge of MS Excel.

The role will play a key part in an exciting and challenging environment within the University. As such, key attributes for the post holder include: being a creative and confident thinker; personal dynamism and innovation; and the ability to adopt a flexible and positive approach to tasks

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
