Salary:  £35,845 to £39,151 per annum, pro rata

Part Time - 29.6 hours per week.

We are now seeking a .8 lecturer to cover maternity leave who will contribute to the Counselling Diploma with a focus on person centred counselling and to the BSc Psychology with a focus on counselling psychology. You will combine a passion for teaching and research. The successful candidate will work with students, team members and colleagues across the wider University to ensure a positive experience for students, monitor student recruitment and retention and address all University quality assurance processes. 

Successful applicants will hold relevant professional body accreditation (BACP/BPS or equivalent) and/or be a qualified person centred counsellor. Teaching and learning experience within the Higher Education sector would be an advantage. 

The role is varied and challenging, so you will be need to be a highly self-motivated individual who is able to work flexibly and to tight deadlines, both autonomously and as part of a team.   You will have outstanding communication and organisational skills and an eye for detail.
