An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wrexham Glyndwr University to join our Inclusion Services Team.  

This role will deliver specifically tailored one-to-one specialist mental health mentoring sessions to enable students to manage their mental health and any difficulties affecting their academic progression and promoting strategies for independent learning and self-management.

In this role you will be expected to: 

-  Manage a caseload of students and monitor their progress and the effectiveness of strategies and techniques that are employed with them.

-  Work with the Mental Health and Wellbeing team at the University in developing services for students experiencing mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate must be educated to Degree level and meet the specific qualifications/ and professional body membership requirements of the DfE Disabled Students Allowances (DSA) and Non-Medical Help (NMH) framework to deliver DSA specialist support. You will have practical experience in supporting individuals with mental health difficulties on a one-to-one basis.
