The University is well recognised as providing a high quality learning experience for students, within an environment that supports a wide variety of student needs. WGU is the University of and for North East Wales and the wider cross border region, but in recent years has grown and diversified its portfolio, with specific on-line programmes, increased partnership activity overseas and with greater number of international students now coming to Wrexham. All these programmes bring a richness and diversity to its student body, yet it can also bring challenges. This post is at the heart of making all our programmes work efficiently.

The post-holder will report directly to the Director of Strategic Planning and Student Administration (SPSA) and themselves lead a large and busy team as well as being a key member of the SPSA Management Team. These responsibilities continue to evolve and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute in ideas and strategies for change.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and innovative individual seeking to make their mark within a University. We would expect relevant experience from within a higher education setting accompanied by excellent communication skills and the ability to both interpret and implement often complex regulations as well as make decisions that can be critical for students or the University.
