Wrexham Glyndwr University has a long history of Initial Teacher Education that meets the needs of practitioners in England and Wales.  We are looking for a highly motivated lecturer to join our new BA (Hons) Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE Primary Education with QTS team.  If you are a student-centred, experienced primary school practitioner with an interest in educational research, we will welcome your application.

We are now looking to appoint a Lecturer in Education to support our undergraduate and postgraduate Primary Education with QTS Programmes with a focus upon primary science.  
As Lecturer, you will work with experienced colleagues to prepare and deliver science modules, in line with the primary National Curriculum, to primary ITE trainees on our QTS programmes, franchised from St Mary’s University, London. A willingness to contribute to our cross- curricular teaching is also desirable. As part of your role you will also be required to support trainees on school experience. Qualified Teacher Status and current or very recent experience of primary teaching are essential requirements for the post.

The Faculty of Social and Life Sciences is committed to supporting staff to develop scholarly and research in their own area of interest.
