An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Facilities and Building Services Manager for a high specification Technology Centre building on the St Asaph business park. The OpTIC Technology centre is a 7700m2 high specification technology building opened in 2004 which is owned and operated by Glyndwr University under their operating company Glyndwr Innovations Ltd.

The centre provides business conferencing, incubation and high technology lab spaces to numerous operating and start-up technical companies.  To service these specialist technical requirements the building requires high levels of environmental control and specialist services. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of these services and the tendering and control of contracts for their provision. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including implementation and management of services compliant with all Environmental, COSHH and Health and Safety.

The successful candidate will have experience in similar complex building services and site management at all levels and be confident in the procurement and management of contractual and emergency response services.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
