The Faculty of Social and Life Sciences at Wrexham Glyndwr University provides a learning environment which allows for students to engage with inspirational teaching and applied research excellence, enabling students to become graduates who transform lives, organisations and communities in their sector.
The North Wales Business School has been nationally recognised for its innovation and radical thinking in business education delivery, and its dedicated team of academic staff develop and deliver a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across different modes of delivery and subject areas. In response to an increase in student demand for our global programmes, we are seeking to expand our pool of sessional lecturers at UG and PG level, in the following subject areas for BA, MSc and MBA programmes:
International Entrepreneurship
International Business Management and Strategy
Hospitality Management and Tourism Economy
Corporate Finance and Financial Management
International Financial Markets and Banking
International Marketing – Management and Strategy
International Human Resource Management and Strategy
Global Health Services and Healthcare Management
Healthcare Policy and Strategy
Data Analytics and Machine Learning
Global Supply Chain Management
Dissertation Supervisors for Online MBA, on-campus MBA and on-campus MSc programmes.
In addition, Mandarin speakers in any of the above disciplines are also welcome to apply.
The successful candidates will meet all, or most of, the following criteria:
- A relevant degree, Master’s degree (MA, MSc or MBA), PhD or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Teaching experience and qualification/recognition (or be willing to work towards).
- Prior experience of online delivery in higher education.
- Ability to identify, develop and share innovative teaching resources.
- The ability to teach flexibly, adapting to the needs of a variety of learners.
- Accuracy and precision in written presentation.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. Sessional lecturers are required for on-campus and online teaching of lectures, tutorials and workshops.
