The Faculty of Social and Life Sciences at Wrexham Glyndwr University provides a learning environment which allows for students to engage with inspirational teaching and applied research excellence, enabling students to become graduates who transform lives, organisations and communities in their sector.

We are seeking to recruit outstanding and experienced Sessional Lecturers to support the University’s newly established online MBA programmes, within the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences, in the North Wales Business School.  

The successful candidates will meet the following essential criteria:

  • A relevant degree, Master’s degree (MA, MSc or MBA), PhD or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Teaching experience and qualification/recognition (or be willing to work towards).
  • Prior experience of online delivery in higher education.
  • Ability to identify, develop and share innovative teaching resources.
  • The ability to teach flexibly, adapting to the needs of a variety of learners.
  • Accuracy and precision in written presentation.
  • Subject specialist skills in the one or more of the following: Accounting and Finance, Fintech (Financial Technology Management), Research Methods, Human Resources Management, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour/Psychology, Employment Law, Business Ethics, Corporate Risk and Crime, Sales Management and Strategy, Leadership and Management, Public leadership, Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Social Enterprise, Entrepreneurship, Work-based Learning, Business Communication Skills, Project Management.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
