Wrexham University is a forward-thinking and student-focused institution that places great emphasis on its quality of learning and teaching and student experience. We are a vibrant and diverse University located in Wrexham, North East Wales.  Our strategic vision sets an ambitious agenda for our future success and growth, which focuses on the delivery of excellent learning and teaching underpinned by research. The Department of Cyber & Computing is currently undergoing exciting changes including the Cyber Innovation Academy due to open in Spring 2024.

We seek to appoint an individual with vision who can contribute to the development of the programmes and to the growth of the department, fostering strong ties with industry partners. The department delivers a wide range of programmes and learning for our students, and we would particularly welcome applications from candidates who have specialisms in Cyber Security, Data Science, and/or Software Engineering, with experience or interest in industry collaborations.

You will combine a passion for teaching and research. The successful candidate will assume a key role in the planning, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of the programmes we offer. The role is varied and challenging, so you will need to be a highly self-motivated individual who is able to work flexibly and to tight deadlines, both autonomously and as part of a team. You will have outstanding communication and organisational skills and an eye for detail.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, but not essential.
